The "ElesAs" establishes a two-way communication between its own computer circuitry and the area of the patient's body being treated.
It measures such things as tissue conductivity which is generally very low in an area of pain. It treats by introducing a gentle current in waveforms similar to the body's own electrical current. This increases the electrical activity of the affected tissue so that the cells can begin the work of self-repair.
Each treatment will take from a few to thirty minutes, depending on the extent of the problem(s) and the number of treatments you have already had.
For example, it takes longer to treat the shoulders, neck and back than simply to treat a painful wrist, foot or ankle. Since the effects are cumulative, each additional "ElesAs" treatment generally takes less and less time.
The relief is cumulative; in other words, the relief will last longer and longer with each additional treatment. The goal, of course, is permanent relief.
After the initial series of treatments, many people have permanent pain relief and never need another "ElesAs" treatment for the same condition. Your therapist will prescribe a maintenance program tailored to your specific case in order to maintain the pain-free state.
The "ElesAs" is currently being used by professional athletic teams, sports medicine practices, clinics, and by many orthopedists and therapists. Many outstanding athletes have been significantly helped by "ElesAs" treatment.
